GURU FUN FACT OF TODAY When he wrote his rhymes on paper they were only legible to him. One would wreck there brains trying to decifer his words because his handwriting not only looked like chicken scratch but he would write all over the paper with no particular structure. He would literally be rhyming in the booth …while turning his paper every which way, (360 degrees).

Who would’ve ever thought that a D.J.. from Houston Texas, & an EMCEE from Boston MA would’ve repped Brooklyn NYC to the extent of being one of THE most POWERFUL FORCES in HIPHOP HISTORY? I have every last one of their albums, and for the MOST part, I am so PROUD to say that GANGSTARR IS THE ESSENCE OF HIPHOP, PERIOD.
As in HIPHOP’s genesis, the DJ who happens to be one of the BEST PRODUCERS EVER, PREMIER receives his MUCH DESERVED SHINE ( how many groups of TODAY STILL have CUTTIN & SCRATCHIN ON THEIR RECORDS? ), although on a pedestal thanks to CORE lovers of the Kulture & Artists alike, he NEVER let it go to his head, & has displayed his humbleness by continuing to open up the atmosphere for the UNHEARD of flavas HIPHOP has to offer.
GURU -Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal is ALSO a LEGEND in his own rite, from being a street thorough veteran lyricist with knowledge of self, to being a Jazz extraordinaire, by PIONEERING the FULL ALBUM COLLABORATION between the HIPHOP legend & the JAZZ legend. I’ll admit, I wasn’t really diggin the OWNERS, their LAST effort together, HOWEVER,with MORE CLASSIC ALBUMS than most artists of the genre, as GANGSTARR & beyond,that ain’t nuthin but small change to such HIPHOP GIANTS, so why argue?
