Founded in 2002, Words Beats & Life transforms individuals and whole communities through hip-hop and the arts. At the heart of all that we do is the belief that hip-hop can serve as the necessary filter between hope and despair for the youth of the District of Columbia. http://www.wblinc.org/

Individual donations helps WBL continue to apply their creative approaches to working with youth in addition to preserving and presenting the arts. If you are unable to make the event please consider making a donation to WBL in support of I Love WBL week at the catalog for philanthropy website at: http://www.catalogueforphilanthropy-dc.org/cfpdc/nonprofit-detail.php?id=83922
